KBD took second place with 9.77 I believe and clinched AOY for the second year in a row. Little Eric & Robert took first with just under 10 pounds. We will just leave it at Zach & Jason, Sinkey & Brad, and myself weighed in a limit each of undisclosed weight. Tom C and his partner left early so I am not sure what they weighed in but I did see Tom catch a keeper close to the end. Congrats KBD on another solid year! Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Sinkey what kinda birds you shoot down here? Up north I had a kennel bred and trained german shorthairs and weimarainers for pheasant and grouse. Thought there would be some good quail huntin down here but everyone says ya gotta go way south or west. Not into this huntin lease thing you boys got down here simply refuse to pay for anything but my huntin license. |

I may have to take up duck hunting again this fall/winter. I apparently can't catch any fish... Charles, we accomplished both goals this year -- a limit every tournament and a top 20 finish. My measly limit of fish Saturday kept us in 16th place overall for the year. Yank, the quail hunting is significanly better out west of here a couple of hours. Most of the bird hunting I do around here is dove & duck. There are some pheasants to hunt in the panhandle if you are up to the drive. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

We left right away after weighing in our puny limit. I lost 2 pretty good keepers at the boat that would have put us at 7+. We had 5 for 4.88 Charlie had what he thought was an over come unbuttoned and a short lived battle with his jig. We did take time to do a tow job for a couple of young fellers that spun a prop. Conrats to Billy and Kay, WELL DONE!!!!!!!! Finally had a chance to meet Zach and say hello at the Bucket Saturday morning. Good to meet you Zach. My son and I left for OK Sunday early AM and just got back in last night about midnight. We did see one nice rack along the Kiamichi River in eastern OK. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc
