What are your plans for the upcoming months..

Mine are already planned out.(according to Kay)

We are fishing the championship/kickoff fall season combo event on the 6-th of September in the JCO.

McDonald's 12-13-14 of September, and
the Berkley in October..

No Media Championships this year for us; last year was a blast, but what a beating.

I will drive to RC. on the 20-th to pick up our Media plack, visit, have dinner with everyone and wish them well, but no fishing in that event.

This off season I have been tasked with a flower bed(make one) in the front yard of the Forktress. OH Joy !!!!

Work on the Master bedroom and bath, that's all we lack to complete the lake house ..

I will be watching some Football this year unlike years past, that new big screen and HD. satellite will be put to use this football season at Fork...
By January I'll be chomping at the bit to get a lil competition going..
May do some Monti and Fairfield fishing when I get the chance too..

Whatz in store for you boyz this upcoming ??

Just got a new custom longbow from fox archery http://www.foxarchery.com so I'll be working on getting the bow and myself tuned up, making arrows and gettin ready for bow season. Being the yank that I am (won't pay for a lease and won't shoot deer under a feeder) will be going to LBJ grasslands, found a few nice areas with ridges to do some stalking. Be fishing on fork in between hunts.

I believe that September and October are almost already booked... Hunting, fishing, weekend away with the wife...

September and October are going to be pretty busy for me but the one weekend I am looking the most forward to is the weekend I will be taking my daughter on her first Alligator hunt. She was selected for the youth only alligator hunt at JD Murphree WMA outside of Port Arthur. I sure hope we can get her a decent gator on the line... :-)

Maybe I need to sneak off to Big Sam the weekend that McDonalds is on Fork to prepare for the Media Championship out there on the 25th of October.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Letz take the Queen Mary out for some Crappie,
right around Thanksgiving is AWESOME on the south end.. It has a potty and a killer stereo
with lotz a room and rod holders.. Yeah !!!

NYY--- There are a ton of DEER between the 2-515 bridges, I see them all the time. Those old farmers won't charge you to hunt if you ask enough of them one or two will surely let you hunt with a BOW..

That's a plus to start with,
no bullets flying around their live-stock.. Most will let you hunt if you just ask, I heard many of them in the past complain about guys hunting on their land with out permission.

They would end that statement with "I would let them hunt, if they would only ask"...

Man there's a lot of deer near 154 and the 515 intersection on the right side headed East...

Rocky Robinson a buddy of mine lives right there too, he has deer in his back yard almost every morning. And their not pets...

Billy...... Hook a brother up..... I could use a place to arrow a deer or two. :-)

Seriously, if you know any land owners I'll gladly ask for permission.

BH .... Dude, I envey your off season. Awesome plans.

I hope Nick arrows a bigg'un.

I've been trying to say what the hell it's only money for 8-years, but Kay won't let me do it. hehehehehehee !!!! Retirement yada-yada-yada...

In the 8+ years we've been married we've never taken a formal vacation.. Not once, I guess the Forktress makes up for that.

Mike, I have deer in my back yard too. I don't tell any one about it-- OOOPPPP'S . My rates are good, cheaper than most. :-) For Bud's

Prolly some great reef, and offshore stuff out there. I watched a show on the Bikini Islands(you know, where they exploded a Hydrogen bomb)
The fishery is awesome. Only thing is, all the fish glow in the dark.

The wife and I will be heading to the lake every chance we get. Glad she has that water addiction.
I should be fishing the JCO fall series.

I spent Sunday and Monday getting our cabins in OK ready for inhabitation this fall. We will make a couple of trips up there for R&R.

HS football will be on tap for home games. Royse City moved up to 4A in the same district as Highland Park and Rockwall. Should be interesting.

We are ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!
Thanking the Lord, all day long

Billy there are a ton of deer around the lake. If you dont have any luck with those places Picou drive down 2946 past rainswood. Ask around there.......if that don't work head over to rainswood get all your camo on load your gun about daylight. Head north on 2946 about 20-30 mph with both windows down and keep a sharp eye out........DON'T THINK IT WILL TAKE LONG!

hahahahaha I crack myself up or maybe just delirious now that I have free time on the weekend, or at least til SEPT 1st then its BOOM BOOM BOOM

Did I say I crack myself up......cause I do.
