Taking a look at Bass Champs are these Texas ball and chainers the best "Big Sticks" in Texas? Looking at 2009 North Region Teams on these lakes: Richland Chambers,Cedar Creek, Fork, Lewisville, Tawakoni
Would a rookie yankee redneck goby tubehead doodle dandy have half a chance against these boys on these lakes?

Your gonna find the regular teams that travel to every tourney in the BC NRT series. Then you have the locals that enter just the tourneys on their lake. There are a ton of really good teams and they DO NOT discriminate. They accept all donations.

No, the payout is bigger and your up against more anglers.. We're fishing some this year,
Kay is ready now. She wasn't in 2001 when first attempted to compete..

Have any of you guys seen the new Bass-n-Bucks trail in the NE this year.. 15,000 for first 5,000 for second etc etc....

Smart arse is in my nature and it comes out every now and then. Maybe this country living is loosening me up some. Beer doesn't hurt either.

You gotta bring beer for us to be able to drink it Tom... :-)

Yankee, I would agree that there are some pretty good anglers in BC but it has more to do with what is at stake -- money. I believe that in order to be competitive in that circuit you need plenty of time on the water. Several of those teams that fish are indipendent business owners who can get on the lake often. The amount of time they spend pre-fishing helps get them in tune with what is going on and makes them more effective. Also, when you are talking about 250 - 300 teams on the lake it gets crowded quickly. That extra 100+ boats makes a huge difference. Not to mention launching and loading your boat -- nothing like waiting in line 30 minutes to launch or even longer to load.

TOW will help you be in the mix.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I wouldn't say there better there are some teams that are on here that could go and do great.....like evryone above said just knowing the agua.

Yankee if your gonna fish champs...... I think Sinkey is in dyer need of a partner. I won't fish with him and he keeps blowing my phone up. If your interested let me know on here and I'll give you his cell number.

Go try it out...never know til you try!

Sinkey and Yankee what a team!!!! Na on second thought that'd never work - we'd rip each other to shreds all day long till someone snapped. I'd out fish him and he'd up in rehab somewhere curled up in a corner drueling, slurping down Gulp gobys and mumbling @*&*%#$@ Yankess suck over and over.

Yank, Here are a couple of decent choices for the fall.

Keep fishing Fork, probably 20-40 boats. http://bassintips.com/jcoutdoors/jcoutdoors_scheduleframe.html

Learn other lakes in the area, Fall/ Individual Trail http://www.cabaoutdoors.com/

It’s all a blast!

Hahahahaa. I can't believe your blasting your number one duck guide and shad dunking buddy on here.

The only question I have on here is: Does anyone else feel sorry for Sinkey's partner Brad?

I heard there making a new rule for Champs next year......They are going to a smoke free tourney like all the restaraunts.

Sucks to be you Sink!
