Now that I have some time, I just wanted to throw a shout out to Scenic 515 cabins and Mrs. Joyce for the hospitality and general concern they showed my family while evacuating from Gustav. Ms. Joyce went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. We really enjoyed their bunkhouse and way facilities set up. Can't wait to get back up there to stay and fish next time. If I ever get internet back at my house I will post some pictures. Good luck to anyone affected by Ike. Not wishing it on anyone but hopefully it stays far enough away from me to avoid the high winds with condition of my roof.
Quit being a mad, little bald man!

They have a really nice setup there and proof that their hearts are in the right place, they have donated their entire facility to the "Take A Soldier Fishing" event this weekend on Fork. All of the soldiers will have a place to stay for the event free of charge.

I am so glad that they were able and willing to help ya'll out. I will definately consider staying there the next time I need a room.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
