I got an email from Karl, we still need about 10 boaters this weekend on Fork for the Take a Soldier Fishing event. Dinner on Friday night is provided -- I'll be helping cook... :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Ozzie, I would go ahead and call them direct. Or you can just sign up at the dinner Friday evening.

Lindale BASS Club is hosting a Take a Soldier Fishing event on Lake Fork (Lake Fork Marina) September 27,2008. We are inviting 100 active duty military personnel out for a day of fishing and relaxation. We are having a fish fry/social for the soldiers and boaters on Friday night, putting the soldiers up in lodging Friday night, and fishing on Saturday. Lunch will be provided by Chick-fil-A on Saturday. There is no cost for military personnel. If you are active duty military or if you have a boat and would like to take a soldier out on the water please log on to www.takeasoldierfishing.com, www.lindalebass.com , or www.etcba.com and sign up or find out more information. You can also call 903-216-4578 or email lindalebassclub@aol.com.

Ozzie, email Karl at lindalebassclub@aol.com or call him and he will get you signed up. I'm glad you will be able to make it.

My first soldier must have figured out who he was paired with and had to cancel. I need to call my new soldier and get our plan worked out...

Dinner is starting around 6:30 Friday. I need to call the coordinator and get more specifics about all of that. I may just launch at LFM on Friday to keep things simple for me.

I'll get the propane bottle filled tomorrow and be ready to go Friday morning.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I'd rather not, I am sure I will need to fuel up, mess with rods, etc... Heck, I still need to re-string several of my rods.
