With leaves and limbs flying everywhere in the dark Friday night at the Forktress after a 2-hr drive and 10-hr flight from Brazil I hit the hay ASAP..
After sleeping 12-hrs straight and seeing the trees bending almost too the ground Saturday morning, I was content to just lay around and watch TV that morning, and for most of the day..

Jet Lag had the best of me along with the long hours from working.

Sunday morning had a very cold start, so we hung out at the house till around 9:00 am, before launching at the minner bucket to seek out the elusive green pickle.

The fish were scattered to say the least, we found some in 30-foot, that played out quick so we made a move to another point and found a good school in 24-foot eager to take the spoon.

Some very nice slot fish up to 6-lbs were there, along with some good forker's at 2.3 2.5 lbs.

Where are they when you need'um ????? !!

Last stop of the day was the best, we fished a point that we hadn't fished in a long time and BINGO the fish were stacked in 9-12 foot along the weed edge at the end of a shallow point..

This time of year the grass die's out a lot shallower than you would expect, why these fish were hanging out on the grass edge on the point in 9-12 foot.. Go figure ???

Loads of fun, and what a way to end the day.
Right place, right time I guess.

If your finding fish in 30-foot and up at 9-foot!!
Scattered is a good description in my opinion..

Feast or famine in the Fall for us, Sunday was a rare treat..
I'm so glad to be back, I don't do well outside of the good ol-USA..

News you can use --I hope

Billy

Hey Zach....

Whatzzzz up.

OZ, we'll be down the Day before Thanksgiving and stay until Tuesday.. How long are you guys down??
We might need a break from the Turkey and get some Mexican food in Quitman one night.

Guys the fish are scattered, but if you look in the right places they'er bunched up pretty good.

Easily said HUH !!! LOL.. We've been looking since Late August.. Dayummmmmm, I hate it when that happens.
