Why do you like a Cold beer so much ??? 1. I don't drink soda pop's 2. Tea-sometimes 3. Can't bring myself to drink milk after 5:00pm 4. I do like to burp !!!!! LOL... Beer is the magic elixir, goes with just about every eatable thing there is in my book.. I believe it prolongs life while fishing or watching a ball game of any origin. I like ice cold canadian beer but just keep getting fatter. Got the only joint near me now that sells Labatts Blue trained to put 5 or 20 on ice when they see me comin in. Good fishing story about me and my dad. Went to Canada every year on a remote fishing trip since i was eight. The last trip I was probabaly 30 or so. My dad ran outta cheap american beer like schlitz or schmidts and started drinkin my Canadian Bradour Triple X (10% alcohol.) Grabs one while we're in the boat at 9 am first sip "eerrgh bitter how you kids drink this crap." About noon we really get into em we're crushing 4 and 5 pound smallies on nearly every cast and he's laughin like crazy, shoutin, hootin, hollerin and carrying on and I'm tellin him to calm down -he's laughin so hard tears are running down his cheeks and while he's still laughing he says now i know why you kids drink this crap i'm drunk as hell, I only had 2 beers and I haven't had to piss all day. Now we're all laughing and my buddy in the back of the boat says yep....that pretty much sums Canadian Beer up, right there, ya got that dead nuts right on Poppa G nothin else to say thats exactly why we drink it. | ||||||||||||

nectar of the gods! i don't drink it as much as i use too. i still like one watching games or cookouts though. good for what ales ya! my favorite lite is miller lite. dark is shiner bock or a porter. seasonal beers are good too, samual adams winterfest hhhmmmmmmmm! | ||||||||||||

I like Canook beer too. Good story NYY-I prefer a heavy lager, there was a beer I used to drink while I was up north called Heidelberg(sp) it was a rich dark yellow beer and it was cheap, since I was poor at the time it fit all my needs. Labatts is a very good beer, I like Shiner to much ..Burp !! I wonder is drinking beer a habit, my root of alcoholism, or do I just enjoy the taste more than most other forms of drink ?? The latter I think, if that makes me an alcoholic---then so be it. I only have a few vice's in this world, and Beer is probably the most enjoyable of all. OH NO. MY dad worked for Rochester Telephone at the yard right across from the Genesee Brewery. He would have his guys do favors for the Brewery guys like drop of old telephone poles in front of there house and they would give him cases of beer in return. We always had cases of Genny Cream stacked to the ceiling of our garage. Most weekends my mother would make him sleep on the back porch for stinking up the house. | ||||||||||||
