I wanted to send a big THANK YOU to my fishing partner Don Wilborn. Being without a boat I did not expect to have a very good year in the club. It turns out the opposite happened and I had probably my best year ever. Don allowed me to fish with him on most of our club tournaments this past year. Most of the tournaments he gave up the front so I could fish my patterns. We shared a lot of information and resulted in a lot of success. I ended up winning AOY and Don came in 6th place in the points. We had 5 wins between us.

I feel fortunate for the way things have worked out while waiting on getting another boat. I hope we are able to continue our succes this year as well. Thanks again Don.

A huge congrats on the AOY.... You are definately one to chase in that club. Way to go Don for enabling Tex... Sounds like the two of you worked well together and I'm looking forward to what 2009 brings.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Congrats on AOY! I wonder what you could do "with" a boat :-).
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
