I have not seen Jerry around this much in a long time Hags got him going now!!!! I think it's about time Jerry did something b/c guys are sick of his BS I know I was b/c of other things we had a few other words for each other one time but why all of a sudden Jerry cares so much? I think it's good for him he needs to know he is not the only one that can make a bait. I know Sinky had alot of hard work into this and he needs some credit but Jerry is the one dragging his feet with Grande. | ||||||||||||

Thanks Grant. But on Jerry's behalf, the dude does alot behind the scenes that people dont see. I mean, when your hit with an order that Academy needs 30,000 bags, Gander needs 5,000, and your still drawing and designing baits on top of all that, its tuff. The main difference in what Grande is doing compared to some others, we dont just throw a bait on the market. It is designed, pressed than tested numerous times til we get it doing what we want. Some people just put the bait out on the market without even prototyping it. I was around the whole time many of the guys on the TFF were complaining, and the funny thing is, most of them got their baits in a weeks time. Some were waiting on hand outs for free (Panhandle). To me, thats just stupid, people these days are so quick to spit out the negatives, but dont ever feed back the positives. My personal issue with Hag is the fact that he STOLE the cad-drawing of a bait that I busted my A$$ many an hour prototyping on Fork years ago. And to watch someone, not copy it, but basically steal it, it is just not right. One of these days he will cross paths with me again, and I will have somw choice words for him! Grant- On the dragging feet part, Jerry does alot of drawing and designing, trying to come out with something different or not seen. For example, right now we are working on a Swimbait, 10 in. Worm, 7 in. Worm, and new Craws. It always seems that people need to get in touch with him when he is deer hunting though. But you know as well as I, everybody needs breaks from this stuff. The man has come a long way in a little over 3 years, and just signed a huge deal with Bass Pro Shops. So he will be even more busy. But he does have some help now, so maybe things will go a little smoother. But it's all a learning curve, and he and I both learned some lessons going thru all that. Hope this clears some things. Sinkey I know you worked hard and like I said you need the credit for it. At one time I placed an order from Grande and the cart was not working so I sent them an email Jerry said to call him and left his number so I did. We talked for about 20 min and he walked me threw his process and it still did not work. He then told me to call him back he would have someone look at it so I called back and he never answered the phone so I emailed him back he sent an email saying he did not know what was wrong and I was doing something wrong and if I could not figure it out than owell WTF the guy watched me do it and it still did not work and he blamed me WRONG THING FOR ME... Once he saw I had a 400.00 order he called and said man send me a check NO WAY BROTHER after the way he acted and a week later after he saw my order then he wants to call sorry bad BUS if you ask me. Plus there are a number of guys I know that placed orders and went threw the same thing and it took weeks to get them after that. I know guys work there butts off for the man and he has some great Pro Staff guys I wish some would come sell my rods? But the man does need a wake up call I hope it get's better b/c I like some of the baits and the guys that work for him I am not Bashing anyone I just hope things get better. As far as the whole Hag thing I don't know what happin but don't let one man drag good guys down the truth will be let out one day and the better man will win not his bait. Should be a compliment to have a bait get ripped off. It is the nature of the soft plastic industry. He is just as guilty as the next guy for taking someone elses bait and building his own off of it. Nothing illegal about it, nothing to get your panties in a wad over...moral? Not so much, but if you can sleep at night then go right on ahead. | ||||||||||||
