IBC was on Lake X Saturday and I found a few swimmer that were willing to bite in 40 mhr winds for 18.39...I also had a chance to stop by Crucial Tackle and meet John McBee and his wife Elaine. Elaine has a health care store there as well and my wife went nuts, she loves that stuff. I walked out of there with a few baits and she with a bunch of health care products…I even had some cinnamon rolls that were great…

Dang! Great job OZ. I thought the low water might make fishing tougher this spring. Looks like I need to head out there and check it out. That was the winning weight right?

Awesome string Oz, tough day to be out there for sure, on that lake the harder the wind blows the better those fish seem to bite. Nicely done.

Oz did an outstanding job as well as a few others, especially in those conditions.

I learned a little about trolling motor battery management on windy days, something not many people think about.

It was very tuff fishing in the wind...and my trolling motor was pushed to the limit. I had five bites and they all were good fish. I was junk fishing anything I could see in very shallow water with a proto type spinnerbait from Vision Lures. www.visionlure.com It was the frist time I've fish this bait and I was very impressed. I can't wait to see what it does at Fork this weekend. Toward the later part of the day I had all the area's to myself and just move around a lot. I'm sure folks saw me tooling all over the place out there :-)
