Bring some of what you caught up here and we can talk about your strategy... My advise would be to fish where there are more flounder... Actually, I don't really know what the winter patterns are for flat-fish. I do know that they will probably be where the food source is. Think of the areas that you have caught a lot of fish in the past and then go looking for the food in those areas. Once you locate that you should be in the middle of the fish. Good luck and congrats on catching a few. Where are the pictures... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Pictures of 4 flounder and a few sand trout?? That takes a lot of effort ya know! I try to save my energy for the better days - but - I'll have to make the exception for ya! - Just to make you Jealous! Actually - I have a customer visiting from HongKong and he wants to go fishing tomorrow - even though it is 80% chance of rain. Maybe I'll get some pictures for ya then? Hopefully! Gotta get some good rain gear tonight! I told him to do the same! Well, as long as there is no lightning - I'm OK with it. All In A Days Fun!!!

Fishing in the rain can be awesome for freshwater in the spring. Not sure how it works out for the saltwater stuff. Good luck... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Dean, find a channel heading out of the bay into the Gulf, find a sandy bottom about 1 or 2 feet deep along the channel,, they are schooling up in the flats right now during the night. Good luck,, PS- a good bait for them is mud minnows, hooked in the lip and dragged along the bottom.. Born to fish-Forced to work
