had out first club tournament yesterday on Ray Roberts. I had my best day ever on that lake and couldn't have been more excited with my third place finish. I have to thank texfisher for allowing me to "pound his (fishing)hole." I got lucky and found the tournament Big Bass there @ 3:40 in the day in @ 10' of water in a cedar tree. Here are a couple of pics of the fat girl and the fat guy holding her. She was 7.5lbs and 23" long. 7.41 paper weight.

Nice! We couldn't get anything to bite on Sunday after the wind died. At least I didn't skunk. One and done but points on the board! We did manage to slay some sandies on the way back to Buck from Jordan after weigh in. Not that its not hard to do on RayBob but it was nice to feel some weight on the end of the rod. |

Good job on big fish Dave! Should pay real well too considering the good turn out. I had my chances but lost a couple good ones. Oh well, looking forward to McGee. |

Congrats on a great looking fish. I went to a TPWD meeting last week to hear talk about changing the slot on Ray Bob.Not sure which way my vote is yet I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Phil 4:13

Great job Rumb... I am looking forward to getting back on Ray Bob soon. I really need to start fishing there again since I can be on the lake in 45 minutes... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks everyone, I need to start fishing this lake more as well. Looking back at the results from the last couple of tourneys, a lot of big girls have been caught by members of our club, this lake is too close to pass by and it has a definite double digit potential each time you go. |

Nice fish. No comment on the hole pounding. I'm still sore from you beating me with that kicker fish. Especially calling me to rub it in while I'm struggling to catch a limit. I will try and do better next weekend. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/
