Dyson’s racked up another top finish (3rd) Saturday in Media Fork with another personal best 11.59. Well Done.

There were two overs weighed, congrats to those anglers. Fishing was tough from what we experienced and what was conveyed from the many anglers I spoke with. Form what it sounded like, the slots and big fish were there to be had if you could make them bite. There was also a 13 + sharelunker weighed in at Lake Fork Marina.

Congrats again Billy and Kay... That is beyond impressive in my book... Ya'll had a great sack of unders and maybe one of these days I can weigh in just a measly 10 pounds on Fork....

For Ozzie and I, it was a tuff bite for sure. Friday pre-fishing for me was fenominal. I ran all over the lake checking spots and caught toad under the slot fish at every spot. All in all I boated 10 fish Friday including a beautiful 8 pounder but my hands were too cold and it was raining to hard for me to break out the camera. I was pretty excited about T-day but leary at the same time because rarely does it work out that I figure them out the day before and it holds for tournament day.

Well, we ended up weighing in 7.58 lbs and it was a hard faught limit. We boated 9 fish all day with Ozzie landing a couple of barely slots. The places I caught fish on Friday we still caught fish on Saturday but they were smaller. I'm thankful that we had that many bites because talking to some of the others after weigh in their bites were few and far between.

We should still be doing ok in points but it sure would be nice to get a check one of these events...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Good job Michael and Rick. Limits were not that easy to come by.

We found bites hard to come by as well and caught 7 fish total with 2 slots. We had 9.21 and I was really surprised that we broke 9 with no culls. We bounced around quite a bit and found the last keeper about 3:00. I had just about lost interest before we put the last keeper in the boat though we did keep plugging along through the boredom.

Thank you for the kind words guys, we got lucky on our choice of locations, and the color of our presentation.
It was a cold/wet day, one I don't want to repeat anytime soon.
The bite was slow and methodical, long spells of nothing, keeping on your toes was difficult.

Congrats to everyone that braved the foul weather, that alone was a feat in itself.

Thanks

Billy
