i would like to go to the lake and
1. not be in 40 mph winds
2. not be in a huge rainstorm
3. not get hailed on

maybe in july i'll get my wish and it will be 110 and no wind.

Saturday for the most part was good and since we were off the lake by 3:00 for weigh in we missed all the storms. Heck, the rain washed away all of the bug guts on my boat from the ride to the lake at daybreak... :-)

I am looking forward to some stable weather patterns tho.....
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Great to meet you as well Yank! Certainly unexpected but glad you came by and introduced yourself. Glad I was able to get your your shirt.

After we got home I was thinking about you going back out there. I was hoping you got off the water before that storm blew in.

Your comment about your daughter brought a big smile to my face... Glad ya'll had a good chat. Maybe one of these days you can tell me how to get thru the teenage years with a daughter... :-)

Yes, he does have Skeeter, good looking boat Rick..

That was a nice surprise, I liked the area we were in. It had some good fish, just not the right ones..

There goes the neighborhood....... :-)

I love that area, have been fishing it since 92' and it has seen its ups and downs. It is definately on the come back and I have been catching more and more good fish in that area now that the grass is coming back thick. Jessica boated the first fish in the new Skeeter right in there after we broke her in. It gets a lot of pressure because of its accessability but that's ok.

PQ the secret to survival during my daughters teenage years was her having two older hockey playin brothers that put a good couple of woopins on anyone that didn't treat her right. It got to the point where the boys were afraid to ask her out and I was cool with that.

Billy would have felt bad if ya missed that one cause you were bsin with me, thought I heard Kay say "would you pay attention jabbermouth!!". Hey by the way I was there first thats my spot. Zeeter now Billys followin the Yank around whats this world comin to.

Got a good deal on the boat from a kid who didn't use it much - think it had like 76 hours on it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but its like a 9 year old new boat. His dad won it in a tourney on fork and gave it to em.

That was a good lookin rig Yank... I ran a 1999 red/white hull SX190 for several years before getting my ZX in '07. It definately is a great boat.... That boat you have is very clean and I would have never guessed it was more than a couple of years old.
