Congrats goes out to both of these teams for gettin checks this Saturday in the Media Lake Fork event.

KBD with a strong 3rd place finish and Zach/Jason with 1st place Big Bass.

KBD have re-claimed AOY points lead and with one event left you have to wonder.... Will they three-peat?????? (no pressure Billy)

It was a hot day for sure and the fishing wasn't too bad. Ozzie and I boated a good number of fish but could not get anything in that covetted 15 - 16 inch mark after the morning bite. Everything from 9:00am till weigh in was 1 pound or a slot fish. Ozzie put our best keepers in the boat early and we just fished hard the rest of the day but came up short.

Congrats again teams and it was great seeing everyone again. Looking forward to baking at the last event in August.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Fate and Luck guyz, fish'n ain't always whatz on the end of your string.

The Dudes that got DQ'd, and a last minute 2.4 lb fish was truly what pushed us up in the top 3
finisher's Saturday. Good livin I guess. LOL..

Kay has been P-O'd that David Haas didn't weigh one of her fish, I asked him too, but was refused.
He told me there was a 7+ something and Zach's 2.52 already weighed in..
Kay had a fish between 2.6-2.7 oz that would have place AFTER the DQ occurred.

Another lesson learned.
*Make Them Weigh* your fish no matter what, ya never know what can go down as the event unfolds.
Also ask for a re-weigh if you didn't think it came up right once the scales locked.
I will from now on..
Thanks for the congrad's, it been a hard fought battle every event, and it ain't done yet. This next one, will be the ONE.

The guy culled a dead fish and failed the poly.
Real nice guys too.. Chris Macafee, and Ben Bennett.
Their good sticks, that would have been the 2nd event with an over for them and two out right wins..
You gotta read the rules--know the rules-and not break the rules.
3-rd DQ of 1-st place teams I've seen in as many years.

Good question, I have know idea if it does, for their sake I hope not. They just didn't know the rules.
Generally when something like this happens, David Haas the TD just disallows their catch.
That way ---it's not a noted DQ. Sparing them from the dreaded DQ which can follow you around forever.
They don't deserve that, but Kay thinks they could have cheated in every event...LOL...
Ya gotta love'er.

Oh yeah, It's her birthday today guys... FYI She's 31 and holding.. Hehehehehehee.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the big bass weigher, David should have never held back from weighing that fish. Ya'll are entered in BB so therefore you should have the right to weigh any fish you want for big bass -- PERIOD! I don't blame her for being PO'ed....

IMO - If you don't know the rules you should not fish. If you fail a polygraph then you are finished with fishing.

Happy Birthday Kay.....

I wish you were on here instead of Billy!

31....... dang Kay you're young and hot, you need to leave that old geezer.....there's plenty of nice guys out there that have skeeters and can fish....wink wink.......hahahahaha JK Billy congrats to you guys on the AOY points and the 3rd place finish. We should of stopped and fished in your pocket when we went by you.....needed one more and that 2 1/2 would have helped.

Happy birthday again Kay!

If you don't know all the rules and are asked if you followed all the rules on the Polly I would think you would pass...But if you do know the rules your busted...If you're not aware of something then there is no deception But since they failed I believe they knew but made a bad choice not to follow the rules...If I was fishing a team tournament and my partner didn’t have a fishing license and I never asked and he never told I wouldn’t know I broke the rules so I could easily pass a polly…Does this make sense?

Happy Birthday Kay!! Heck I would have guessed 28 :-)

I know he does.....

No what I was saying we should have fished there because we had that one fish that was starting to get on its side. We ran in an hour early cause it was one of the biggest unders we had. Probably could have lasted for another 30 mins or so. I wasn't saying you were in our pocket at all......unlike the other fool that's sea gull watching right now. Bed fishing......Kay said she wanted to take lessons, but you won't let her.hahahahaaha haha

Kay still needs a younger guy......hehehehehehehee hehehehe :-)

Just kidding wild Bill.
