Anyone ever lose a Friend/Co-worker to a fatal
accident at work ???

It was a terrible accident, the guy was crushed by a giant steel fixture plate that fell on him.

The night of his death, he was the last person I talked to before going home. I was the one who hired him, and tasked him with the job that killed him.

He was very careless for just and instant and it cost him his life..

This is something I've never had to deal with before and it's not been easy for me the last two days.

Checking his tool box, for company tools while his brother stood next to me was awful.. I have never check a dead mans tool box before.

I helped clean up the area where it occurred and removed all the reminders of what happened there.
That was very difficult..

It has really shook up the work force throughout the company, they're all afraid now.

He was a friend and a good worker that rarely let me down in a time of need. But he's gone now.. I just can't get over that.
The things in life we are forced to deal with can be over whelming sometimes..

Anyway--- that's what I've been dealing with this week.

I'm ready for some fishing I think...

Billy,
That's a tuff one. I'm sorry to hear about this. I'll pray for the family and everyone involved.
This morning the Irving Bass Club lost a dear friend and long time member Jerry Reese. He developed a blood disorder that ended up taking his life. Jerry won one of the McDonalds tournaments on Fork back a few years ago. He will be missed!!

Yesterday late in the day, a trauma psychologist spoke with about 30-35 people.
Some of the eye witnesses are still really shook up.. Bad. There was a lot of tears shed
and way to much information for me about what it all looked like while they were rendering aid.

I hope it helps all of them-- Lord knows I needed some information about what I was felling.
Time will heal MOST.. I pray everyone can put this behind them asap..
