What a day on Lake Texoma for our anglers at this season opener. While the weather was a little chilly the fishing for two of our teams was smokin' hot. Two new Oklahoma Water Body Records were set for Lake Texoma at this Saturday event. Anglers Joe Copeland and Robert Mink weighed in an impressive 11.16 lb largemouth that Joe caught 15 minutes before the tournament was over, a new Oklahoma Water Body Record for Lake Texoma. Anglers Dale Stover and Josh Williams weighed in an impressive 3.39 lb spotted bass that Josh caught, a soon to be certified new Oklahoma Water Body Record for Lake Texoma. Thanks to all of the anglers who joined us at this season opener and with 3 more events scheduled their is still time to qualify for a Texoma Fall Championship. Hope you will come join us on November 7 for event #2 of this series. A Big Thanks goes out to our host marina Alberta Creek Resort and owner Bill Glascock for his hospitality and making us feel welcome. Congrats on that 4.09 smallie Bill. Thanks to our registration locations the Tackle Box Pottsboro, Texas and Texoma Tackle, Kingston Oklahoma. Complete results and photos at www.jcoutdoors.com |

That's awesome Mark, great day on Texoma for some no doubt. Wow, 11+ BB and a 3+ SB. The bite was good, I really like that lake too. If I could only get Kay to leave Fork every now and then. Smallies should be firing up real soon. KBD Fishing
