Big storm comes across the Great Lakes and dumps feet of snow with 50+ mph winds. Photos taken in Batavia NY yesterday.

Then ya gotta wake up early so you can clear the driveway so you can get out and drive to work in a white out. Can only go maybe 15 or 20 mph or you'll slide into oncoming traffic or flip over coming down a steep ridge. And this is also why most yankee kids are born in September and October.

The last Pic... Been there and done that, looked like a Snow man by the time I got the drive blown out.. I've had to plow 3+ feet
a few times just to get to work in the morning.

We had a blower like the one above and an OLD-OLD WW11 Willis Jeep with a snow plow on the front.. Man, it was a shock for this flat land Texas boy, indeed.

I learned a lot about staying warm in -10-20 degrees..

I would never live in a area that required you to own a snow blower. end of story!

Lived in Ohio for 23 years, off of West Erie Ave.
Snow is prevalent up there……… That’s why we’re here…….. End of story

Snow blower you rich SOB's when I was living there it was a shovel with the ends all beat up from freaking shoveling for days only to get plowed in and start over again so now the snow is heavier...:-( Been there done that... I lived in upstate NY for 19 years so now I'm in TEXAS!!
