Our schedule for the J C Outdoors Spring Teams has been set. In the tough economic times we think it is more important for us to put as many dollars back into our anglers pockets at each event rather than gather their dollars and use them to reward one or two anglers at our championship. While we look forward to a great championship with 100% payback we are more excited about awarding our anglers with the richest payouts at the ramp of any mid entry trail out there in 2010. This year we will be having 5 qualifying events in each division. Our tournament hours will run from first safe light until 3:00 pm first flight weigh in. These events will have a $150 entry paying back 90% at the ramp less polygraph (random polygraphs scheduled for all 2010 trails to keep the cost down to you the anglers) and plaques with a 1 in 5 payout (minimum 3 places paid at each event). There will also be a $10 big bass pot option paying back 100%. We will have registration on the day of the event beginning 1 hour before start time, registration by mail or registration by credit card. Off limits will remain as last year no fishing on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday on Sunday events without prior registration. Our combined Spring Teams championship this year will be a 100% payback one day event held on Lake Ray Roberts in the fall with the date and marina TBA soon, currently looking at September 25th. Our Spring Teams Championship will have a $200 entry with optional $20 BB paying 2 places 70%-30%. Their will also be a championship barbecue dinner following weigh-in for $10 per plate and all contestants and family members are welcome and encouraged to join us. Also for this season is a $50 cash side pot option paying back 100% cash at the ramp. This side pot will pay 3 places with the payouts being as follows: 60% for first place 30% for second place and 10% for 3rd place paying out only to those contestants entered in the side pot. With the tough economic times we are facing our goal this year is to provide you with a fun, competitive event with maximum payouts at the ramp at each event as stated above. We hope you will write these dates down and join us in one of the many lakes we will be hosting tournaments on for our fourth season in 2010. Our tournament hours will run from first safe light until 2:30pm last cast. Weigh-in will open at 2:30 and remain open for one hour giving everyone time to make it to Alberta Creek either by water or trailer. All contestants must remain at the Lake Texoma ramp of their choice until official start time which will be posted, at that time you may either make your first cast or proceed to your first fishing destination, no running the lake in the dark. With the large swells some of the cruisers leave this lake can be dangerous on the calmest of days. These events will have a $150 entry paying back 90% at the ramp less polygraph and plaques with a 1 in 5 payout (minimum 3 places paid at each event). There will also be a $20 BB pot paying back 100% that will be split 50% each between largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. We will have registration locations on both sides of the lake and you may also pre register by mail or credit card.
