Sixteen teams joined us this morning for our final qualifier in the Lake Fork Fall Teams Series in what would prove to be a very challenging day of fishing for all. For the first time in our 3 years of doing tournaments no limits were weighed. Only half of our anglers were even able to scratch out a single fish to bring to the scales.
The points race for AOY remained solely between the teams of Troy Rossman and Troy Clemens and Service Marine owner Chuck Turner and Mark Huffman. T1 and T2 as they are known had a solid 20 point lead going into this mornings event and nearly had that taken away from them catching a single weighing fish at .74lbs today to hold on to that lead by only 7 points at the end of the day.

Congratulations to 2009 Lake Fork Fall Trail Anglers of the Year Troy Clemens and Troy Rossman. For their effort, they will receive 2 nice AOY plaques to commemorate their win, free entries into the 2010 Lake Fork Fall Trail and the honor of topping some of the very best anglers Lake Fork has to offer.

Thanks to all of the anglers who fished with us in this fall series and for those who qualified we will see you at the Fall Trail Championship on February 20, 2010 to crown our Lake Fork Fall Trail Champions.

In two weeks we will start the second half of our Lake Fork Individual Trail with four events remaining beginning on Januray 31, 2010. Its and $80 entry fee individual trail with only one adult angler per boat, along with this we have a junior angler competition for Jr. Anglers 16 and under, its a no entry fee one fish competition for these young anglers with the top fish winning a prize or gift card valued at $50. So load them younguns up and come join us.

Just a reminder also the 2010 Lake Fork Spring Teams will kick off on February 27, 2010 with 5 events. These Lake Fork green monsters will be changing there mood very soon about eating as the waters begin to warm back up. We invite you to join us for some great fishing, fellowship and friendly competition this year.

Most of the water temps today were in the low to mid 40's. In spite of those temps most of the fish weighed were still found in shallow water 5' to 8' with some nice slots being reported as caught and released.

We were blessed to have each of you join us this fall/winter and look forward to our best year ever in 2010. Diane and I truly enjoy the friendships and the fun we have with all of you and consider you all as family.

Congrats to all who endured a very challenging day on Lake Fork.

Both of the top 2 teams had some healthy fish. Congrats on putting up some numbers on a challenging day to say the least.

Good job by T1 and T2. They gutted out the one fish they needed for AOY. Well done. Great job month in and month out.

Thanks to Mark and Diane for their loyalty and for putting on a fun trail to fish. You both do a great job every tourney.

I enjoyed fishing with all who we encountered on the water and it was great to meet the rest at the weighins. The teams that fished this trail are some class acts.
Thanking the Lord, all day long

It was a whipp'n, wet---cold, then COLDER and still the fish wouldn't bite. Randy and I were laughing about how bad it was today, if lil E hadn't caught that last fish we would have took 3-rd with just 2-fish.. That's pitiful.......LOL.

I'll be there tomorrow with my Dad. We're doing a combinatioin bass/crappie trip. Hopefully the warmer temps will get them going again.

I'll be fishing the spring Texoma trail and maybe some of the Fork tournaments. I like the Crucial tackle discount since they are 30 minutes from the house.
