3-13-10 Bass Champs lake Fork

3-20-10 Open ***********

3-27-10 Media Super Teams Fork

One regret I have about Media this year is they over lap with Bass Champs on Ray Roberts in April..

I had planned on fishing Roberts, guess that's out..

Yep, Kay and I are in for all 3. I like where Champs is this time around compared to last year, it was late April. To much bed activity then, I like early to Mid March for locating the big girls that are staging in 4-8 foot. Best chance (I think )for weighing in a big Over fish.

I still have nightmares about that first Media Super Teams in 2008. It was in Mid March, I was on some Big fish and didn't get the job done.
Maybe this year will be the one.

Yes sir Billy....

I really just wish we could fish the Champs in April. There would be some huge sacks weighed for sure.....Right in the middle of the spawn.

That's one I wish we could role.

Planning on all 3 and looking forward to the pre-spawn fun. There will be a little bit of sight fishing to be had but not much for Champs... I know where I am going to be tho!!!!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Tic Tic Tic

See ya

March will be busy for me too, ewes guyz won't have this old irish yankee SOB to kick around these parts anymore. I'm movin back home to catch some real fish on real lakes with my sons and grandson. The Feb Media will be my last shot to embareass Zeeter n Sinkey AGAIN.

What happened is, I went home to visit over the holidays and decided I want to be more of a part of my grandson's life. He's 3 and he did a pretty good number on me. Some of my earliest and best memories are fishing every weekend with my Pa and don't want to miss out on any of that.

Got a good job for a chemical plant in a little town called Geneseo, NY hope to find a place on Conesus Lake.

So if anyone wants to take a smallie or steelhead trip let me know.

Don't worry though forkers I'll be back - already decided my retirement home is going to be on Fork. Till then Ill keep ya posted and will definitely keep tabs on all y'all now and then - thanks for all the fun your all good bunch of fishermen.

Are you kidding Yank....

Man I hate to see you leave. We were like Batman and the Joker, it will never be the same. I'm gonna miss your old arse and you better come back and fish. You can role with me anytime man. Keep us posted and be safe....the next few years will be special for you....I know most of my fondest memories are and were spent with my grandparents.

Good luck and if you need anything just hollar.

Naw ain't kiddin took awhile for me to figure out. Ya got your work life, your fishing life and your personal life. The work and the fishing were ok down here thanks to Don and you guys, but that little bugger really got this hard asss old man misty when I left. Gotta set your priorities around what's truly important in your life and I'm gonna be there to see him catch his first fish.

Yank--
Maybe someday I can get you on my boat too. Go see a man about a fish wearing pinstripes. I've been Steelhead fishing in Pulaski three times- I dress like a skunk when I go up there just so people know whats up... I'd love to hook and bring one of those crazy fish to hand.

There is some fishing board in NY that has no idea whats coming.....;)

He will be telling the "Steelhead Stalkers Fishing report" (or whatever) - "those Texans get those boats going about 80 and aim towards stump piles".
"And they use 40 lb test for 5 lb fish". - "and they think 30 degrees is cold!! Can you believe it"

The New Yorkers will say- "those guys aint right"

Oh by the way--- Which one was is Joker??
