I'm not the most knowledgeable Bass Fisherman by a long shot, however !!! I believe with the weather pattern we've been experiencing for the last two months the fish(big Girls) will hit the beds quick once the opportunity arises. I say that because from years past I've found fish on Beds in Mid February up in Glade.. I know that sounds crazy--but they were there, and in good numbers. It's a given that everything is in delay mode right now, but--when it happens it will be fast and furious I guarantee it. The problem for me is, I have to work during the week. I sure would hate miss that first HUGE wave that pulls up.. It's going to be a Blast, what are your thoughts on this phenomenon. KBD Fishing

you got a full moon on Feb 28th. If the weather holds there should be a major wave that weekend. |

When the water temps are 46 at the ramp and you find water that just warmed up to ~52-53, the fish will be moving in there. Then when it warms more later in the day, it is just flat out ON. I do believe the moon causes fish to move up but I think when you have a winter like this one, water temps come more into play. With not much of a warming trend to speak of this year, I agree will Billy that when it happens, folks that are there are going to have a good time. Many years ago, I whacked them in mid-January during a warming trend. I think just about every year is different. Warmer water in an area is a big attraction. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc

I will definately be watching the weather and taking some afternoons off to head to the lake and take advantage of the push. I have a few guys here at work who are really eager to go fishing. Pre-spawn, agressive fish would be a blast to get them on. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
