Just a reminder guys that this Saturday is the season opener for the Lake Fork Spring Teams Series out of The Minnow Bucket Marina. Start time will be 6:45am with first flight weigh in at 3:00pm. The fish are making a move toward their spawning grounds and are feeding in spite of the cool temps and water. Read the post from Gary Paris and other guides who are starting to whack some great fish. When I was on the water Saturday for a couple of hours I witnessed fish being caught in the middle 1/3 of the cove allthough they would not bite for me but hey somebody has to run the dip net, these fish were feeding in 2' to 4' of water. No pre-fishing on Thursday or Friday of this event without a prepaid entry. You may drop off your entry at the Minnow Bucket Marina prior to fishing on Thursday or Friday.
