You know what, I had more fun just fishing for FUN and cathing the crap outta fish that I may just hang up tournaments...and to boot a had a sack that would have been in the 12lb range so go figure!! Man it was good to relax and fish no pressure at all...Michele was just eating her sunflower seeds and watch coots, butterflies, turtles and bass swinging into the boat!! It was a fish fest wasn't it OZ... Happy Birthady Bud... !!!! You ol Basstage LOL.. Saturday was absolutely a beautiful day to be on the lake.. Kay and I caught the crud out of fish (granted they were mostly slots) But, it was fun as heck. All the neighbors in my area were catching the crappie like mad off their docks, it was kewl to see the lake come to life at once. Seemed like everyone was out enjoying the nice day and the fish were biting. Only low spot of the day was I ran out of 2-cycle oil and the Big Motor alarmed out, 5-miles from the house.. limp-limp-limp for about 2-hrs. That hurt cause we were in a tournament.. Man OUCH is right, it always something with boats...Sorry to hear that Billy. There were a bunch of folks in the park just killing the crappie. I bet there were 100's caught off this one point over the weekend. It was silly fun watching them...there were 5 or more boats sitting on top of these fish just slaying them...Jigs and bobbers were the ticket!!
