Rick do you guys target points and structure like we do for Bass, aren't the water temps still condusive to fishing up shallow for smallies.

I'm still working on a trip up there, I'm looking for any excuse to hit the Auburn plant and take some PTO while I'm there for some of that Strawberry Rubarb pie HUMMMMMMMMMMMM, Had that up in Canada.. Dam good.

On Erie we're still over broken rock that hold the big pre spawning females and working structure on Seneca Shoal, Myers Reef, Evans Bar or Van Buren Bay . Targeting 15-25 feet of water and the lower stretches mouths of creeks like Cattaraugus, 18 Mile, Canadaway and Chautauqua. Orz caught a 7lb largemouth last week up shallow which is BIG for honeoye, but for the most part we do hit the points for smallmouth. There not to hard too hard to find there's only two or three main points, north end grass, and south end grass. What will freak you stained water dudes is you can see on the rocky bottom of honeoye 25 to 30 feet deep.

Have a good time Yank... Not too sure if I will hit the lake with all the crazies yet or not.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
