Me either OZ, you need to be in the River, and I don't know it that well. Got my azz handed to me a couple times out there, we did catch some nice smallies though, our best was 4+. The whole Brazos chain isn't what it used to be, since the Golden Algae hit it back in 2000.. Good luck PQ, I hope you tear it up Brotha.. KBD Fishing

Man do I have to teach you guys everything about how to be a stud and do cool crap in your home state. BELOW THE DAM MAN. Get outta your fag bass boats and Canoe below the dam for some outdoor adventure sheet. Fly fish the Brazos for smallies, spots, and stripers. Its beautiful, no one else is around and the fish are are almost as mean as yankee fish. http://lifeonthebrazosriver.com/BrazosRiverTexasFishingGuide.htm |

Yank, we used to do that every Memorial weekend for years.. It's just not the same, by a long shot. We would canoe 20+ miles, take all 3-days drinking and fishing and GOOD eats too. I would beach above the rapids and fish the current. You never knew what you would catch, crappie, sandbass, hybrids, stripers, Blk bass and smallies too. At night we would set limb lines with live perch, that was fun with all the dam snakes trying to help you out by coming in the boat with you .. KBD Fishing

Never mind then. Almost got washed out once after a rain down river, had to beach it and call to get picked up after they opened the gates. |

I have not decided if Corey and I will be fishing it. She wants to but I have not completely convinced myself I want to donate my money to the Whitney regulars. Would be a fun couple of days with Corey fishing but on Memorial Weekend on a lake with more than its share of pleasure boaters..... The side benefit of fishing this is the drawing for taking a demo ride saturday. They are giving away a 989 SI and a $1500 shopping spree at FNS for the demo drawing. Better odds than playing the lottery but this ticket costs $200.... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
