Grant. i fished Fayette Friday from about 11:30 till 6:30pm. We put together a very good pattern by about noon. 18 to 25ft of water throwing shakey head watermelon candy plastics and drop-shot. Best five went about 25lbs. I had a 7 lb kicker. We focused on the main creek channels on the north end of the lake. The water is warm and we couldnt get a shallow bite. My buddy is out there right now in a kayak and has caught about 4 fish between 4 and 6 lbs on a shakeyhead just south of park prairie. He is fishing the pond dams. Hope this helps. Grant, fished fayette again today and boated 25 fish. Biggest bass about 4.5 lbs. Caught them all in deeper water on drop shot and shakeyhead plastics. Tight Lines www.demonrods.com | ||

We moved around a bit but when we fished the end of the dike there were stacked up pretty good. We stayed there for a couple hours and caught fish the whole time. Pretty much through a watermelon candy zoom magnum shakey head worm most of the day. Also used a drop shot with a watermelon red zoom finesse worm and caught fish on it too.
