First off let me say thanks to the 88 teams who joined us for this event, your participation made the sponsors for this events efforts worth while. This more than doubled last years participation numbers for this event. Water temps are heating up and the bite seems to be slowing down a bit as the bass are in transition to there summertime hangouts. On the other hand if you enjoy catching slot fish they seem to be willing to bite at all levels of water right now. No doubt the guides are having some tremendous trips for their customers right now. Thanks to the door prize sponsors of this event some nice door prizes were donated including a hummingbird graph, 2-keel shields, a 3 bank on board charger from Sartin Marine, a hydro-dynamics jack plate + $800 in discount coupons for prop repair or a new prop from Steve's Custom Props, a one day or night guide trip from Lake Fork Guide Randy Oldfield, Wave Fishing scorpions, tiki sticks and coozies, a $500 bonus from Bullet Boats to the highest placing Bullet Boat Owner, a free nights stay at Scenic 515 Cabins and an awesome Barbecue Feast catered by Big Smith Barbecue courtesy of Billy Sartin and Sartin Marine. Thanks Bob Taylor from Bullet Boats for bringing out the 22' Coastal boat for everyone to see. That cool deck was really cool. Stop by Sartin Marine and check it out but hurry I do not think it will be on the lot for very long. A special thank you to my fish care helpers Rocky Robison and Rocko Coss and the team from Lake Fork Sportsman's Association for bringing out the live release boat on short notice. Thanks Micheal Rogge for expediting the process on a very short notice and taking time out of your tournament hours to make it happen. A special thanks to Lake Fork Marina and Motel for their hospitality and support of this event. Next years event will be scheduled for May 28, 2010 we hope you had a great time and will join us again next year. This event will continue to grow no doubt and as it does so will the cash prizes and door prizes.
