Do yall cut and remove old trot lines? I don't know how many abandoned trot lines I have seen while fishing. The lines is covered with moss and the hooks have all but rusted off the line. Just wondering what everyone else thought of it.

I don't find many of them where I fish. Not sure why though. I would think the right thing to do is cut them and get it out of the water.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I have cut a few and just tossed them onboard, later threw them away.
