It has been a long time since I have fished Somerville, but hopefully we can get you an answer. Welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy it.

I may move this over to the "At The Ramp" section for you tonight and it will get more attention there.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

move completed... I thought I lost the post but I guess I am just blind. I am still green at administering this message board so don't feel bad. There is a great bunch of folks on here and we have a good time. Again, welcome to the ramp...

They bite every winter on Tawakoni under the 2 mile bridge. If you can stand to stay out there in the wind... :-)

I too spent many a february afternoons on the Yegua with yellow or white road runners. I'll have to dig up some of those old pictures... That was back in the late 80s early 90s when I fished there.

That was the same time I was there!!! We might have rubbed elbows. I used the white "little fishies" with quite a bit of success.

1990 was the last time I was there. Some nice fish at times. I hooked what had to be around a 8 lb (probably hybred) there once and got him to the bank. My buddy was trying to lip him when he rolled one last time and threw the hook. Quite a fight on my light tackle I was using.
Love to fish and hunt.

I was 12..... you still need to fish a few more years to catch up :-)

Dad had a brand new bass boat with the then "nifty" swivel seat on the bow! A black Ambassadeur 5500C on a Fenwick Lunker Stik casting 12lb test mono tied Texas rigged plastic worms.

Heck, I still remember when all the big names still had tree top over a large percentage of the lakes. Livingston, Sam Rayborn and Toledo Bend. Come to think of it, not too proud of that now....anyone seen my Geritol? Now what was I saying again?

We fished a lot of lakes back in the 60's and 70's. We went saltwater real bad in the early 70's and the fresh water scene kinda faded away for us.

I'm gonna do both now :-)
