I figured out a sic pattern about 2:30 sat. that produced 3 16" fish right before weigh in.....depending on the tourney your in, they would have been legal.....anyways do I take advantage of this pattern and go fish tuesday night tourney at the bucket.......or stay home and lick my wounds............................? well Spider, heh heh, I can tell ya this much......it involves using a Grande Arse Pickle Snake in 2 feet of water and a gaff instead of a net.......if you don't know the rest it won't do any good...................any advice? From the info givin I'd say a grande pickle snake is a 1 inch grub. 1/2 lb. penalty for gaffed or dead fish. 2 feet of water indicates you are carp fishing. Need more info! I don't know the rest. | ||

Sic pattern only produced slots.........caught 22 fish.......mostly on drop shot....lots a 3.5 to 5,s.....weighed in 7.40.....bottom was 8.6 I believe......over weighed in with 7.45 on 4 for 13.50.........my gawd it was hot...was a little dizzy at the ramp....but was fun to get out and figure those puppys out...ole smokey didn't like sittin for so long..acted like fuel pump dried out.....big fish are hangin on road beds late....those ball and chain guys ruled.....sorry, just can't do it......... Mite do the media Ind. Sunday.....I think the sic pattern would have ruled with more time...only had 2.5 hours..... If your a guide on fork and you can,t put people on good fish right now.......then you suque.... Surface temp was 95 at 6 o'clock!!!!!! (Message edited by picklefork on August 10, 2010) | ||
