Just bought my NY state super sportsmen hunting license 1 buck bow, 1 buck regular, 1 buck muzzle loader, 2 doe tags, 1 Adirondak early bear tag, 1 regular bear tag, 2 turkey fall, 2 turkey spring, small game and fishing $98.00.....to hunt anywhere I want. Zeet doe meat is fer eatin. Hell I handed a regular hamburger to my best friend's 7 year old son at a cook out years ago and the kid smiles an says this is the best burger I ever tasted. Then his dad comes over and whispers the kids never ate anything but venison. Just found out we get another doe tag with my bow stamp this year, so lets see 1 bow doe tag, 1 buck bow tag, 2 doe regular tags, 2 buck regular tags, 1 doe muzzle loader, 1 buck muzzleloader, and 1 landowner doe tag = 9 tags. So between the 5 of us baddest AMfs ever reeked havoc in da Great Northern Woods that be 45 Deer. Gonna be one murderous mfn fall man, know what I'm sayin. We be fryin up fresh back strap all fricken fall. If anyone needs to find me from October to December tell em to follow the gut piles. I'm meanin piles of deer like katie bar the door keep the women n children at home phsyco kind a mass fn destruction. | ||

Here ya go Zeet this is how we do it. 1 cup canola oil 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 2 bay leaves 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 15 minutes 2 pounds cubed venison Italian Bread Directions In a large resealable bag, combine the canola oil, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, onion powder, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Place the veneison cubes into the marinade, seal and shake to mix and coat the venison. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight, or for up to 3 days. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat. Thread the venison cubes onto skewers, dividing evenly. Discard the marinade. Cook the meat on the grill for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked to your liking (you can make a test skewer if you want). To serve, place a whole skewer of venison on a slice of italian bread. Hold onto the meat using the bread, and pull the skewer out.   | ||

Yank thats speedie porn - A Upstate NYorkers dietary staple. Buy Lupos or Salamida "sauce" - save some time for walleye fishing ;) OK- probably a mistake to jump in this BUT I dont mind huntin over an orchard- We dont bait em though, we hunt on sign, on patterns or we drive them to a man on stand (snow and leafs kicked out from under your feet qualifies as a stand BTW) Some guys can track them down- but they are good. We do eat them - still - we like big racks too, and everybody I know wants a big buck more than anything else. Well except-- we know a guy that shoots arrows at them from his bedroom. I dont want to mention more about that home boy though - you'll think all Yanks are like him- Oz1 knows exactly what I mean. ;) We got good at dressing and stripping the meat - we had to,-it was our job - the old man went back to work after hunting. We'd put a few (or several) in the freezer pretty much every year- He could think like a deer. There are a staggering amount of deer on NY's Southern Tier. And last year we had another easy winter, ....lots of deer.... We should all go shoot some. I'll take the fishing rod over the rifle most days however. Deer season IS ALSO walley time where we come from- Little 1/8 or 1/16 bucktails tipped with a fat head or shiner (Or NO SHINER if ya prefer it Zeet- No sweat- a good TX stick would still get his share. ;) Oz2 | ||

Oz I haven't killed a real deer in 8 years Zeets right I'm goin wacko but you should be safe down in the southern tier hell thats almost like texas. This time of year its tough salmon are commin in, grouse is Oct 1, then pheasant, but don't ferget the browns, dang then turkey, but what a bout deer, steel start november, and smallies on lake erie are maniacs in the fall. Dang feel like a teenager in a whorehouse. |
