Congrats to Remax for landing a 10.16 Hog and finishing 2nd place at the Mcdonalds tournament!! Hey Guys.. Wow---What a weekend.. The crown was flowing Friday and Saturday night in celebration of the good luck bestowed on the anglers at our house.. Rmax calls it his money digs. The dude has amassed over $171,000.00 for just 2-fish. Pretty impressive having man boobs and all. Oz banged out 900.00 bucks, outstanding for the first time ever to fish this event. Great job Bud !!!!! What can I say about Kay, she never cease's to amaze me in what she can do in this tournament. She and Rmax have got it's ###. We had such a good time this past weekend with friends and neighbors, our house was a buzz every evening. I consider myself a very lucky man to have a wife like Kay and the good friends we've made over the years that love this sport as much as we do.. I hate the Berkley tournament ---but if she's on a roll I need to play it out.. RMAX won a regular cab "nice" Dodge truck and a very nice TR19 X2s Triton boat with a 175 Pro XS. Both items were very nice, much better than originally expected for a second place finish. Of course this would be the year they didn't give out a boat for the 2.50 fish, and we hit in the second hour of the second day.. 1-in a million shot and she pulled it off when she had to.. I was watching the standings all weekend... Awesome job to all of you! Rmax is incredible in that tournament and has certainly made some money there. It's no suprise to see Billy and Kay cashin the checks and how 'bout that Ozie... Sweet deal to get two money fish through all those other competitors -- way to go dude!  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks...Ya know the trick is to just get in there with all the other boats and do your thing whatever that is...I was really surprised how everyone handled themselves around the other boats...I never got mad once. You just deal with it and move on. I caught fish 20ft from boats...Day two we went big and never cashed so next time I'll stick to the game plan all three days... It was hot OZ, Sunday was the worst to me.. I couldn't buy a bite on soft plastics, around 11:30 Sunday we headed to the house for some grub an to cool off for a few.. We got back out around 12:30 switched to a 1/4 oz. War eagle blade (spinner bait) it was ON again.. to bad I wasted a whole morning on soft plastics when they wanted to chase.. Up next to the bank too, in 1-2 foot of water..Amazing... KBD Fishing | |||||||||
