Had a song about the flood waters of the Mississippi a while back.. ******Us folks at Fork, sing it backwards.. How low's the water Momma, 1-foot down and drop'n. How low's the water Momma, 2 & 1/2-foot down and drop'n. ******** 4-years since I seen it this low, in one way it's kind of a blessing. We have some serious dredging going on in the back of our cove.. Their cutting a 40 ft-wide 8-foot deep boat lane all the way past my Dock to the back. 4- of us got together and are having it dug out and sea walls put in.. Wow, cool beans... Yep this last weekend I had to relocate my water pump intake to deeper water. If I lose another 2" there will be no more trying up to the dock...on the other hand fishing has been awesome!! I busted 40 fish on Friday and about 20 on saturday morning...
