I have heard that this time of year the cove North of the jetty at the power plant is a good place for bass.

Sorry I could not be more help.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

It's been several years since I fished Hubbard, and the only time I've fished for bass there was in the Summer. Caught a majority along the rip rap at the different bridges.

February?!? I dunno...if they're generating pretty good, your most active fish are gonna be nearer the discharge.

It's not that big of a lake, spend a couple of weekends looking it over. Just remember, it's owned by the City of Dallas and things don't work the same as your "normal" TPWD lakes. For example, they can have "private" coves where you're not allowed to fish. I know, I know...it's still "public" water, but city owned creates a whole other set of rules.

Good luck!

Rudey,

Are you familiar with running around north of the bridges?

Not really. What little I did was too many years ago to be of any use now. Sorry.

Charles, I know that a lot of folks would fish North of 66 for bass in the spring and summer. Lots of little pockets get flooded up there when they are letting water out of Lavon is what I was told. All I know is anywhere north of I-30 I get scared in my boat since I saw a peice of re-bar sticking straight out of the water in the middle of the lake one time.
