This is tonight. I will be heading out there to see what they have to say. Press Release: "TPWD is sponsoring another Lake Fork State of the Lake meeting as a result of interest expressed at the February 2010 meeting. The meeting will be held at the Quitman United Methodist Church’s J.O.Y. Center located at 406 E. Lane St., Quitman TX 75783 on Thursday, October 28 from 7-9 pm. This venue will accommodate about 400 people and there is also ample parking. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc

Dallas has been pumping since January to their hold tanks. They can pump about 5ft a year from the lake. They always pump the cheapest water first and we suspect Fork water is not cheap to pump. So if in a drought year like we had a few years back the lake could have got about 16ft low if Dallas pumped it full allotment each year.
