Darlene and I spent right at 2 hours on Athens Monday. It sprinkled on us 2 or 3 times but we never got caught in the heavy downpours in the area except on the drive in and out. I guess we timed our visit just perfectly. Her son lives on the lake, which was our primary reason for the trip, but this was my first time ever on that body of water and I will have to say that I will be going back. Like I said, we only fished 2 hours and still managed to boat 9 bass from 15" - 19" (which is in the 14-21 slot) and I let one get away showing her what it looks like when a fish picks up your bait and runs with it.
