22 degrees here this AM - ice fishing is my best bet for a bass starting pretty soon.. walking on water. Cutting holes and jiggin tiny spoons on tiny rods. Dont forget the Mousie!! (yes, a mousie grub is live bait, I hope the fake Zeeter does not nail me on that)

Did not weigh it- so I'll say...... about 9 pounds ;)
HA!
If ya dont weigh your fish you can say whatever you like.

We never get into them quite as good in the boats as we do on the ice in that particular spot. Grass stays alive there well into the winter and the bait gathers... walleye to 10 lbs, bass as you see, and the occasional 20-30 lb Northern Pike. FAT Yellow perch to your hearts content too. I cannot say I look forward to the cold at this moment, but when you got lemons.....

Yeah, thats what I grew up on. Hitting the American Legion, VFW, Saxon Club and a slough of other clubs for the perch.

It does not get better than that.

189 Gross NY record typical for archery is 180 1/2. Will be in the top 5 for sure.

Holy smokes--
Looks like 13 points Yank?

Lets see.... what else I got to "one up" The Yank -

AH!!

The oceans most NOBLE fish, I have never met a one I did not like. And a very under rated hair style still frequently seen in upstate NY - ~ ~~~ the Mullet.

Mines bigger.

We owned the pier that night. If we were there another week we would have been handed the keys to the Town of Kitty Hawk. We won em' over, one Mullet at a time... Good times.
