Like I've been telling you Rob, just come down. There is always fish to catch.

Anyway I left for the camp Thurs afternoon after work with intent of going duck hunting and then speck fishing Fri AM. Woke up and just not thrilled over going duck hunting so decided Just to go fishing. And what a choice it WAS! Limited on 25 speckle trout in less than an hour Friday with no throw backs. Went back to the camp and The rest of the guys got back from duck hunting and we left again and caught their limit before 10:30. 100 trout by 10:30. Went back Sat AM and caught my limit again along with two big reds and a flounder. Wind picked up quick Sat am and turned them off as fast as they started. Unfortunately my limiting out string got broke due to my nephew BIGBOY came along Sat AM but can't keep up with his uncle. He only caught about 8. What a weekend! Who needs to duck hunt anyway. Pictures coming soon. Some reason my camera will not finalize the pictures saying there is a disk error. Hopefully they will be recoverable.

That is the thing I miss the most about coastal life... I can't wait to get back to Houma and get out there to do some fishing.

Congrats and knowing you... those pictures are toast... :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks guys.

Bigboy, keep dreaming. We had 33 trout and 2 reds. Out of which you may have caught 9 trout. You just caught three in a row in a period I did not have a bite for a while. I know. I had to take off all your fish!!! 14 yrs old and can't unhook a fish!

Picou, It has nothing to do with me. Some reason my Sony camera can not handle these "suppose to work in all Sony Camera" disks. They have to be the Mavica disks or once in a while they say there is a disk error. But we can finalize it on my wife's work camera and then pull up again on camera. Rather strange. Best part: Sony does not sell Mavica disks in stores anymore. Have to buy online for double price.

Well done Wade! Punch that spot in and get us on em SON I CAN'T WAIT!

I know what you mean about unhooking. Austin had a shake down on our last PINS trip and he's learning the art of fighting them wading, holding the rod tip high with 5 - 8 ft of line out and tipping them in close. Showed him how to roll a redfish over so he goes to sleep in you're arm as you work the hook out. Kids nowadays I tell ya, we need to invent the "how to fish, unhook and filet" video game I tell ya :-)
