Well I ended up fishing by myself--buncha wimps didn't like the cold and rain I guess..

Fished from 7:45-11:50 about 4-hrs in all, the trap bite was off the charts early, then the soft plastics took off.

Tried out the new Flash bait Grande has out now and it is the bomb. Wildly different action than a fluke but looks similar.
Fortunately I had a productive area to myself for over 3-hrs on a busy Saturday morning at the ramp. 2 Bass Clubs having tournaments that morning had me a little worried go in.

I highly recommend Monti right now, the fish and the numbers of fish caught are very good.

Yeah the dry parts have been rough to get a limit on..

Yep it'll be Kristi, our oldest. That girl loves to fish and she's pretty dang good at it too.

I think she wants to follow in her mom's foot steps and kick bass in some trails later on.
I have them both in trainning right now might take a year or so..

There's a creek just off to side of the ramp area have you looked in there before? I think the left bank is the deepest and there are a few dock too. The main lake point where the sign is at can hold some fish too. Email me I have a spot for you to look at thats been a big fish spot... rosborn@richmondcomm.com

Nice looking rod Rick, reversed reel seat HUH. !!!

I've seen a few custom rods set up that way lately.. You use a spinning reel ??

Oz the warrenty is 20 yrs. Start out with the Savvy series you'll love it.. Great rod for the price the SS703C and SS733C are awesome for anything fast moving or you can TXrig,Jig,Crig.
Great all purpose.

Right now I have 3-SS703c 2-SS733c, 2-Champion series 765CB Glass you can look at.

Save up a lil then get some Extremes, we ain't all rich like a Sinkey the sliver spooner.
