16.03 official weight from what I am reading on other sites. A new lake record. Lake Austin is in the middle of the draw down again. Seems like every year they do this some monsters are caught.

Nice looking fish too, what a toad.. See what happens when a lake is on a draw down, it bunches the fish up and they gorge.. Fork is close to exploding with big fish expected to start showing up any day now with the lake level being 3-1/2 foot low.
Some of the best fishing I've experienced out there was when the lake was 5-foot low.

Yeah....I liked it this weekend, but with the coming week I'm just hoping for 5 bites. Found some really good fish concentrated in a couple of areas so homefully they won't move to far.

That lake is fishing tough right now for sure. I talked to several guys who had fished for two and three days and only got 3-4 bites.

Ran the whole lake.......went North and the water was a lot dirtier, shallower and actually a couple of degrees cooler.... imagine that. Caught a couple up there but nothing like mid lake area.

With this weather coming in I think the north shallow fish may completely turn off. I like my chances with the deeper bite on brush. But who the heck knows. I may zero. I mean it the gar hole creek.

Hahahhahaha thats funny Huffman........

The only grass I saw was being sold at the gas station in meth central. No grass, no wood, not really good depth changes. Just a bunch of high powered skeeter boats fishing the same holes

Cedar Creek is fishing like the dead sea. Maybe we will get lucky and the weather will stick around and cancle the thing until later in the year.

You would think BassChamps would learn to not schedule a tournament in ealry February.

There will be a team that catches 'em. It just takes one pile of fish to win it. Unfortunately for me and Corey, we will not be the team because I am not going to fish this weekend. I was going to start fishing Champs so we did not have to get beat by Zeeter anymore. Now I see that he is fishing Champs.... Maybe I will switch to BLT or something... Gheeze....

No... Seriously, I do not want to start our season this way not to mention the boat has not been out of the garage since September last year. We have been too busy for me to get a day on the water. We will be at the Fork event this year and hopefully both Ray Roberts events at least.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Come on over to BLT Picou. We are going to give it a try this year. The Sherman division fishes Texoma, Lewisville and Ray Roberts. They fish on Sundays which is the reason we are trying it. Otherwise we would be back in JCO's Texoma division.

Back to Fork with all you Forkers...

Ozzie... There are not any of Billy's holes on CC so you should just stay at Fork where you are confident....

I predict that 1 fish will probably get you a check. The 10:00am start has me reconsidering. Only problem is that the boat has not been started in 3 months.
