Elder lower Niagara is always open fer biness. But even old yank gettin a little soft haven't had the Mustang Survival suit on but once. Been below 10 down to -6 for better n a week. When its that cold all I wanna do is cuddle and put another log on the fire. So cold the pads on the pups feet were gettin bit looked like she was trying to walk on hot coals. Stay off the roads down there cause aint a one ya knows how to drive in snow or ice. If ya must get out stay on the access roads and please don't slam on your breaks when ya hit ice on a bridge. Just take your foot of the gas well before you get to the bridge an just take her smooth an easy. | |||||||||

Not yet. Water was ~48 at the ramp yesterday, 52 in the middle of the creek and 56.5 in the back. That was with no sunshine yesterday. I think last year it stayed cold for a long time. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc | |||||||||

Like the next 3 days maybe??? We are going to have single digit temps here at the house tonight. I'm happy to hear those water temps Tom... Hopefully they don't loose too much over this week and we can have an early spawn this year. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Its the grip of winter here ya'll - and the envy/anger cycle is blooming in Yanktown Nude Hampster This weekend I'm off for lake George NY & the annual Winter Festival- (strictly created to get bone white, over bundled- shut in yanks outside once in the month of Feb) and a little salmon/laker Ice fishing. Zeet- yeah-- we use live bait. Cripes sake we'd use wacky rigged kittens and 10 dollar bill teasers if thats what got em' ;)   | |||||||||

This is the first time since I got here I would rather be in Philly than at home. Sure there is 2 ft of snow on the ground, but it's 40 degrees today. We missed that storm headed to Elder and Yank. Hate to say it but the girls are there Yank-- Thats part of the problem - after 6 layers of LL Bean snow stuff they sort of lose their girlishness (certainly on camera).. The next time a poor shut in NorEast "date starved" dude sees "woman skin" outdoors-- is May. -- late May..
