The dam COOTs have tore the grass up !!!! I mean they have chewed it down bad in my coves in Penson. There is some grass..If you find the right patch ** it will be a good one. The creek channels are easy to spot with the water down.. Shallow flats right next to them too, guarantee ya a SAL will come out of that bay this spring--betcha money $$(hope it's me). The trap bite in the right spots should be real good.. A month ago it wasn't in there--dead sea, now so-so, I really don't no for sure. I was lucky to catch some real nice fish on a War Eagle SpinnerBait 3/8-White in the timber about 4-foot deep 2-weeks ago. I'm staying away from the south end too--if I can help it.. It's seen a lot of pressure of late, areas with less traffic could be slow but very rewarding if you now what I mean.. KBD Fishing | |||||||||
