Congrats to Chuck and Mike on the 3rd place.

That was a tight race for the top 3 teams.

Yeah man, it was cool for sure. Didn't know what kind of day we were gonna have when we rounded lil caney and there were 3 foot rollers. Started out on the windiest pt of the lake and trolling motor wouldn't even keep up. Dad stuck a toad on his 2nd cast and it was all down hill from there.

Found fish in every spot we hit and at 2:00 couldn't get any closer with all 5 fish being 15 7/8 and pretty fat. Thought our weight was gonna be higher but I guess they were just long and skinny.

We owe our win to him, he stuck our biggest on a whack and then was hell on that culling beam the rest of the day. Don't know that Ive cherished a win like this and to do it with the guy that taught me everything about that lake is pretty special.

Funniest part of the whole thing was hearing him talk about the poly he had to take.....hahahaha

Hope they stay up like they were for this weekend. Should be another whack fest if the lightning and rain hold off.

Congrats to all who placed especially ol slick belly catfish Simms. He's on fire this year and don't know that I can catch him in pts. But we's a coming.
