Clear Lake is right next to seabrook.... go get some live shrimp or piggy perch and find any kind of rocks, docks, or jetties.

........but aren't you down there for work.

Go to the Texas City Dike and buy a half pound of fresh dead. Rig up a short c-rig (14" leader) with a 1 oz bullet weight on the string backwards to grab the sand and have some fun catching all kinds of fish.

Only worry about the green water if you are wading for trout. Otherwise, there are always fish biting fresh dead or cut bait.

Whiting make some pretty nice fillets for frying.

The other option is frozen shrimp which don't stay on the hook worth a flip....

I suggest catching a piggy perch then make him into cut bait. I prefer to fillet the little bastages and keep the skin on them. Vary the size of the bait to the size of the fish you are catching.
