What a great weekend... I really had no idea how many fish RH has in it and was thrilled to see my disabled angler catch so many of them. Congrats to Tom C. for putting his disabled angler on a 2nd place finish Saturday with 12+ lbs and raking in big time with a check for $900 plus a brand new Humminbird depth finder and a Navionics chip. My veteran had his own boat and wanted to fish the water he located pre-fishing which only yielded him a limit around 7 pounds and several places out of the money on Saturday. Sunday he wanted me to show him some other spots and we ended up in second place in the open tournament with 16.02 lbs and a check each for $450. We missed first place by .05 lbs -- dangit... We had a great time Sunday and caught at least 25 fish -- too many 13 3/4" fish. Got to spend a lot of time with the disabled anglers and the PVA took care of us with dinner both Friday and Saturday night at BPS. They provided the water, ice, and lunches both days also. I look forward to next year!!! Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

My partner All Kelly hailed from Atlanta and decided to take up tournament fishing. He is a para and about 70 years old. Al fished hard for two days. He had equipment that was sort of 1980's style. He never did use any of it as I had about 10 setups ready to roll and I just handed him rod after rod and said just throw this, lol. We both got checks for $900 on day one. I took home $1,750 in cash and prizes on a $50 entry and I never did have to fish. When he got his 5th keeper in the boat I said "Al, I am really digging the snot out of this. You're putting us in the money and my back is not even going to hurt tomorrow". I got to sit in a chair all day and run the trolling motor. First time I got to sit all day since the PVA last year. It was great. Mike, you did a super job man. Well done for sure. It was great to get to chew the fat with you Friday and Saturday night and Sunday as well. It was great to hang out and have some cold ones together buddy... It has been a while since we did that! Rarely do we get the chance to just sit down after a tournament, drink some beer, and just shoot the chit. A very refreshing change from the normal. Charles, I did not snap any shots but I know the PVA took lots so hopefully I can get copies of them. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
