It was not an easy day for sure and ya'll did a great job dude!

Corey and I only managed 2 keepers all day but caught a bunch of them little green pickles. We fished timber, points, rocks, drop offs, creek bends, etc... We threw carolina rig, texas rig, crank baits, split-shot, drop shot, and shakey heads.

By 1:00 we still did not have a keeper in the boat and I landed a 6 pounder on the shakey head. Shortly after that I caught another keeper and thought we might have finally figured them out..... Wrong!!! Corey jumped off a keeper and we caught another 8 - 10 short fish.

Again... Great job Zach & Danny!!!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks fellas, that lake was tough that day for sure. Had probably 10-12 bites all day long, but we knew going into it we weren't looking for alot of fish and felt like if we did get bit they would be good fish.

We caught the 6 lber first then caught a 7 lber and I told my partner we were on the right pattern to win. Then went 2 1/2 to 3 hours with out a keeper and hit prolly 8 brush piles with nothing, went back to a pile in shallower water and caught a 3 1/2 lber. stopped by one pile on the way back to the ramp and caught a 15 1/2 incher. So like I said it was tough. Jumped a 3-4 lber off right at the boat just out of net range that would have moved us prolly to 2nd or 3rd and broke two off in brush-piles that never got to see.

I just wish there were bigger tournaments on that lake and more often.

Thanks again

Hahahahahaha...... only about 25 but used for crappie fishing until a big tournament comes around.

I think the winning sack came of Brush piles on a road bed.
