"If Mark throws down a fall trail. I hope he packs all the events into the Sept-Dec timeframe. Have it done with by the 2nd weekend in December." This fishing tournament trails into August is BULLCRAP! I emailed Gordon about my thoughts on this when the schedule first was set but never got a reply... I don't think a trail should extend into the late summer...Its too Hot on us old farts...The fish don't like it either!! Am up for a fall trail that ends in Dec like Tom says. I just think , no unders weighed early, bump every fish, and F-ing spend some more and get a good scale with no questions. Hell when gordon weighed a sack of mine at the elliots this year. On the board above the scales read 9.94, Gordan says is weight is 9.54 and that there was a short in the wiring. The person in front of us and back of us got the weight that was on the board above. Only cost me one spot so not that freaked out but it was a couple hundred. Our cull em right was showing just under 10 too. He dumped the fish in his tank before anything could be done. After the tourney he apoligized and said he should have weighed them again and was in the heat of battle with so many people weighing in. Corey and I will be on Ray Bob also. I am not looking forward to the wind but it is what it is... It's a Champs North event so the wind is going to blow. I have not been on Ray Bob since the last Champs event out there. Needless to say, I do not think Corey and I will be doing very well unless we just get lucky. We are just going fishing on Saturday and hope our best 5 are worth a crap. Good luck this weekend on Fork Pickle... It should be some fun. Zeet... Look forward to seein ya' at Champs. I understand both sides..... but no one complains about ray vereen fishing or any of the other guides getting in any tournaments that they can. I mean chit, I was always told to be the best you have to beat the best! I mean why was the comment even made then. I personally like to see them fish because if it comes down to it and I beat them then I think thats better then beating some slap-stick from west Ft Worth that has only been on the lake a few times. I mean chit why wouldn't he fish...... he hasn't had trips, didn't break any rules and can go out when he doesn't have a trip and make money. I would have done the same thing! Actually quite a few people have complained about RV...but he qualified. I don,t have a problem with E fishin' If he actually qualifies. I don't trust that little chit..always puhin' the rules and grey areas..I've seen it over and over with him...2 dq's in a row on thursday nites...fit throwin' at weigh in's...rude behaviour on the water...followin' people to their spots then goin in and wearin'em out...followin' people just to see what bait they are throwin' and how they are fishin' and then seein' evey mafia member out their throwin the same bait....he's a good technique guy but he's got a lot to learn about fish behaviour....and life in general.... Zach, all the regulars that fish Fork in competition know what goes down.. I see where Pick is coming from, I just ignore it most of the time.. You guys hardly see us in competition.. Some ... wonder how it is a few guys always end up fishing the same areas together almost every event. Fork, is BIG--lots of room to find fish away from a crowd.. We love lil E, IMHO... he needs to make a stand on what he's doing and stop hurting his rep, funny thing is he don't think it's wrong. Ray has caught some flack about fishing these events too, I know cause I see it on the TFF from others PM's. It hurts their business in the long run.. Maybe when he gets a few more years under his belt, it'll work out better for him.. Life’s all about the decision we make, a man tries to make as many right ones as possible.. Maples / Walker Chuck turner Ozzie Cody Malone Brett Killingsworth Steve Hodge Little E and others Move to the next spot who do we see Chris Mcaffey Bruce Powell James Caldemyer Ronnie Kelley Tommy Sykes all came in to fish why we were there move to the last spot Billy and Kay are near and Lyndel Pearson and his brother are there So how big is it really? Yeah there are a lot of us that fish the same area because in practice or days off we go fishing together..... doesn't mean we cheat or follow anyone around and check what bait they are throwing hahahaha As for the phone deal ....... I agree but I'll be got dam if my wife calls or anyone I care about family or friends and I don't answer I'm done with this whole thing.....yall will think what you want to, about who you want to, when you want to so, Im sure this will come up again. I like fishing against the guides myself...Fork's a whole different deal and you guys know that...everyone needs to be following the same rules... If a few are breaking rules then its no good for anyone and the trail will suffer...these things get figured out sooner or later...I've enjoyed fishing with you guys but its taken a toll on me this year...its just flat out hard stay where I need to be to win against you jokes... Totally agree about the rules, hell if I saw Eric breaking the rules I would call him out on it. But weighing a fish thats close is not breaking rules. I know you are not saying anyone is cheating Billy and heck yeah I got your back....
