Is it this weekend? I may have to come out and play this time if the wife and kids are still at State 4H.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I think we all should fish the bridge pillars and spread out Cody's fish between about 15 teams... :-)

Lets just get it over with, and look forward to some Media in October when it's a lil easier on man and beast.. i had 109 on my truck in spots yesterday at 5:20 on my way to change a flat tire on Kays truck on hwy 360 rush hour traffic.

Both our trucks almost over heated just sitting there with the a/c's on and both our outside temp gauges were reading 120+ degrees on the hwy.
I never tried to change a flat so fast in my life as I did then..
Lost about 5-lbs and didn't tinkle until mid day today.. LOL WooWeeeeeeee.. Thats to flipp'n hot for anybody..

I agree Billy. The older I get the less bearable the heat is becoming.

I can't even imagine how all of y"all are dealing with it :-)

We are just gonna keep those pickles cool as cucumbers. I don't see much of a difference between this Saturday and the July tourney except 7-8 degrees.
I reckon we might bring in a deep hooked one but it would have to be a real good one. Just depends on what part of the lake we are on.

Get you some flip clips guys. This hot water is brutal in the livewells. Also keep your lifejackets laying over the livewell lids when not wearing them, this helps tremendously.
I had to FlipClip three of our bass last night to keep them alive and they were not caught deep, just stressed.
When a fish rolls over in the livewell it will not last long due to stress and energy wasted trying to right himself.
I have some if you need em. $5 for 3 or you can pick them up at Lake Fork Marina. I also have the 6oz Catch and Release for $10.

We had one fish start to crater about 2:00 and the clips worked well. I just throw a wet white towel over the lid(s). Works great for keeping the cool water cool.

Ozzie forgot to take the clips off and the person bumping the fish at weighin handed them back to me. David got a kick out of that one. LOL

I never saw them on the fish...where were they? They went from the livewell to the bag zippy zip unhooked the tags while in the bag so I never saw any clips?

Yep there are some toads in that area. When crappie fishing you break em off and never even turn them.

That's a good fish Oz..... now leave my pets alone hahahahahahahaha Just kidding.

Mrs. Zeeter was great to offer refreshments. We were doing fine at that point though. I told her that I thought you guys were doing pretty good since I saw you throw back smaller keeper.

Best of luck to Mike and Plano West in the upcoming season.
