We fished 7-hrs Saturday, I wasn't bothered all that much by the heat. I guess Kay was, she bought a ton of stuff Sunday evening at Academy and Target.. Cool wraps-funny looking Aaron Martin looking hats.. Some stuff you pour into plain water bottles to gain more electrolites.. I will agree, we have a lot more of this heat ahead of us, protect yourself well. It's a long time to Halloween (bench mark for cooler weather) KBD Fishing | ||

Just rolled in from St. Lucia last night at 1:00am. Dang it's hot here... We never saw above 85 for a week and we experienced rain. That was different for sure. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc | ||

Looks like Ill be boatless for the next several weeks. Hopefully not that long. Boat is getting dropped at Classic today to be detailed up, then over to FNS to sell. So I will be out of the heat for a few weeks til Oct. 1st on Lewisville. When I was on Lewisville before heading down to the coast, it was stupid hot. No pillars to run and hide under there son. Just sun beating down on you. | ||

That breeze kept things pretty cool all day for us. We stayed out in the sun most all day and never really felt uncomfortable. I am pretty sure that Ozzie and Steve Mee went back out fishing later that evening. I had to haul it to the house to feed bankbeaters horses and various other ctitters.
